How do I apply?
Step 1: The Application:
You can apply online or request a paper form.
Step 2: References:
You will need to get two references, one from a friend and one from a spiritual mentor. Please download the form here:[Word Download Link]. The application form will also ask for your church’s details and we will ask your minister/pastor for a reference directly.
Step 3: Informal Interview:
We will arrange an interview to discuss with you your application and to start to get to know you.
Step 4: Waiting:
Once these 3 steps are completed we will discuss your application with the leaders of the team you will be joining.
What happens if I am accepted?
Once you are accepted, one of the team will keep in touch with you and help you as you start to raise your fund raising. We will send you a checklist of the steps that have to be taken before going, these cover all aspects of your trip, such as which vaccinations you will need and arranging your travel to our missions centre at Bawtry Hall. You will also receive a handbook which should tell you everything you need to know before you go, such as: The history of the area you are going to, recommended books to read which will help prepare you to go, what to pack and details of the accommodation you will stay in.
