Church Partnerships

Pioneers believe the responsibility of reaching the unreached rests upon the local church. Pioneers was created to complement the efforts of the local church. Pioneers exist to partner with the local church in sending people to the most needy places in the world.

We long to help facilitate the church in sending people to the field. We endeavour to include the sending church in any major decision affecting the missionary, and it is essential that the local church play a key role in a missionary’s application to Pioneers, their support building, ministry and personal development.

In the same way that the church of Antioch commissioned Paul for ministry (Acts 13), Pioneers long for the local church to commission people for ministry.
