What Can I Do?
How Can God
Use Me?
We have all asked the question, “How can God use me?” It is normal to wonder how an individual can make a difference in a strange and foreign culture. Pioneers believe that simply being a presence in a dark place achieves much for the Kingdom.
Any Occupation, Any Land
Pioneers believe that any occupation has the potential to be used in an effort to see a church started among an unreached people group. A variety of involvement in the community to be reached allows for a diversity of relationships. Whether you have skills in medicine, business or education, any type of work has great potential to reach people with the gospel.

Many think that you have to have everything figured out in the missionary journey before leaving. Most, though, do not really know what it will take to smoothly integrate and become relevant in a foreign culture. Rather than trying to stick to a fixed ministry plan that has been created before going, Pioneers encourage creative ministry ideas. Forming relevant ideas often only comes after spending some time on the field. Many have found that only after living among a people group for a year or two, learning the language and integrating into the culture, can they really begin to craft a plan to build relationships and effectively meet the needs of the local people.
I have but one candle to burn, and would rather burn it out where people are dying in darkness than in a land which is flooded with lights.
