Where Do You Work?
- 95 Countries
Today Pioneers has more than 2,450 international missionary members, working in 230 missions teams, in 95 countries, among 146 unreached people groups, mobilised from 8 international missions bases.
Pioneers continue to seek those who have a ‘pioneering’ spirit to go as a missionary and live among those who have never heard. Pioneers are constantly looking for people who will join existing missions teams all over the world.
New missionary missions teams are forming every year, as there are still so many places that have not yet heard. Out of the nearly 6,000 remaining unreached people groups. Below are 30 of our priority unreached people groups:
- Fulani (Nigeria)
- Kanuri (Nigeria)
- Sandjaks Basque
- Central Tibetans
- Nameless Animist group
- Fijian Indians
- Meskhetian Turks (USA)
Central Asia & Middle East
- Central Sumatrans
Pioneers will not limit new teams to only these areas. Pioneers desire to come alongside those with a calling to reach out to any group that has not heard. They are our passion.
“It is then only reasonable to seek the work where the need is most abundant and the workers are fewest.”
James Gilmore, Missionary to Mongolia, 1872-93
