Internship

Are you willing to serve for a year or two? Do you want to learn about mission whilst serving a mission organisation? Do you want to help facilitate our short-term mission programme and lend a hand with other office-based tasks? Do you want to gain exposure to the work of Pioneers and the many short and long-term missionaries who serve with Pioneers?

We are constantly looking for people with a servant heart who are stirred by our core values and who are willing to give their time. You may have been on a short-term mission trip and now thinking… ‘What next?’

An internship would provide you with a fantastic opportunity to learn and to serve. An internship would also offer you the opportunity to explore the call on your life and potentially give you a stepping-stone towards longer-term mission opportunities.

• It would allow you to build on any short-term experience you might already have and provide a platform to see what long-term mission is really like.
• It would give you the chance to explore mission in more depth and involve your church leaders in your vision for the long-term.
• It would allow you to build a support base, to raise prayer support, and to engage your friends, family and local church in your journey towards mission.

Reaching the world’s remaining unreached peoples requires people like you, your unique calling, gifting and vision. Pioneers seek to utilise the gifts and skills of people who are willing to stand in the gap and serve. Are you willing to invest your time and energy in reaching the unreached?

How would it work practically?

It could work in a number of different ways. Our conferencing centre may be able to offer you a small amount of part-time work or you may be able to get a part-time job within the local community, which would help to cover your living expenses. You could, however, raise the financial support through friends and family. The mission centre is able to offer reduced rate accommodation to help facilitate this.

Because of the nature and flexibility of an internship a website alone will not be able to effectively communicate how it could work out practically for you.
