Use your love of all things cheesy to help bring the love of Jesus to North Africa.

A team in North Africa is looking for teammates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to try new things in order to bring the love of Jesus to their city. At the moment, they are running a professional skills training centre, and while they’d love to have people join them in this business, they’re also eager to welcome entrepreneurs of all kinds.

The team is located in a coastal city that is a little less conservative than the rest of the country, and is more urban and touristy, so just about any business idea could work. In particular, they’re looking for people to start businesses in:

  • Photography
  • English Teaching
  • Fitness/Health
  • And yes, CHEESE-MAKING!

Any idea is welcome, but more important is the type of person the team is looking for. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, willing to learn two languages, an extroverted, relational, out-of-the-box thinker. They will be interested in influencing and shaping what’s going on in the work, and will be thinking long-term – without an end date in mind.

The opportunities are endless, really! If you think God might be calling you to this type of ministry, let us know! We’d love to talk through the possibilities with you.

Candidates will need to raise financial support to join this ministry.

NB: The opportunities listed on our website are only a small percentage of the available opportunities. To find out about more possibilities, please don’t hesitate to contact our mobilisation team.

The Arabian Peninsula (AP) is full of opportunities for professionals who want to live out their Christian faith cross-culturally.

The AP is a very expensive place to live and most countries place a high value on professional contribution, so anyone who is prepared to work a normal 40-hour work week on top of personal and team-based ministry time is an ideal fit for the region.

Possible job opportunities include:

  • Medical
  • Humanitarian aid / refugee work
  • Consulting
  • Business / entrepreneurship
  • Teaching / higher education
  • Sports coach
  • Marketing

It is advised that anyone seeking employment in the AP begin to learn Arabic before arrival. Although learning a language by immersion (in-country) is generally preferable, it is unlikely that a person would be able to balance full time language learning with full time employment, so a basic knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial.

Our mobilisation team would love to chat more with you about the possibilities, so if you’d like to know more, feel free to get in touch!

Several teams in North Africa are looking for energetic, adventurous people to join them.

After more than a century of faithful work in the region, there are now believing groups in every major city. Praise God! But with a total of less than 5000 active Christians, there is so much still to do! Many towns of 100,000 have no known Christian and no workers. Our challenge is to go beyond the major cities and make the Good News of Jesus available to all.

Long term, it is not difficult to set up in business, there are widespread needs for rural and health development, there are opportunities to offer healthcare (though not to practice hands-on medicine) and there is always a need for teachers.

Other opportunities/needs include:

  • IT Consulting
  • Teaching art or music
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Tourism services
  • Agriculture
  • Martial Arts

Team members must be willing to learn at least two languages. You must also be willing to spend much of your time building relationships and spending time with local people. Having professional skills and experience as well as the ability to work autonomously is also a plus. There are currently six teams in the area, so there’s a lot of opportunity to find one that fits you and your gifts.

Help Families in the  West Bank.    Work with local citizens and charities to provide modern day necessities to impoverished communities. Bring long term change to families through education, economic development, humanitarian aid and the love of Christ.

There are so many ways to get involved with teams in the  West Bank ! Here are just a few ideas:

Humanitarian Aid: In partnership with other non-profit organizations, the team provides basic necessities and life-sustaining services to the poor, including food distribution, primary medical care and wheelchair distribution.

Economic Development: In alliance with local governments and existing businesses, the team helps facilitate secure jobs and income stability through job creating, micro-loans and business start-ups. Agriculture projects are also a possible means of involvement.

Educational Opportunities: By providing English education, child care, adolescent development programs and adult education within a loving and nurturing environment, you can help prepare young people for successful entrance into adulthood and adults with more work opportunities.

The biggest current need is for teachers and teacher’s aides.  The team has 100+ 3 to 5 year olds who they are teaching English. The team will pair you up with locals who are paid teachers. You will get to see to the needs of the classroom and assist the teacher, all while learning Arabic and developing relationships. When school is over, visit the children’s homes and further develop and maintain relationships! The students do VERY well and the parents love this because they have confidence in the team’s school and teaching! There is also a need for English teachers with at least a bachelor’s degree in English for adults. Minimum commitment of one year. Familiarity with Islam, Middle Eastern culture and/or Arabic preferred.

Social Work in North Africa: Social workers are needed to work in a women’s prison and with single mother rehabilitation.

Come to a country where everyone, by law, should be Muslim. This place has a beautiful history and attracts a lot of tourism, but it is also in desperate need of people who will focus on rural areas and marginalised people.

The team focuses on reaching out to the disabled, women and at-risk children. They also minister in the areas of health care and agriculture. Your social work degree and background would be a huge help as the team seeks to bring the gospel to the women’s prison and through single mother rehabilitation.

Scuba Dive Master needed: Use your love of diving and the ocean to further the kingdom in a challenging place.

A Pioneers team in the Middle East needs someone to join their team and focus on an established scuba diving business as a dive master.  Scuba diving would be part of the overall ministry effort of making new disciples in this Muslim community.  The team will provide fellowship, accountability, and guidance into the local culture.

The team asks that a person commits to a three to six-month minimum stay. Ideally, a person ready to commit several years to the ministry would be best for the kingdom effort in this city.
