Mission: Next

What Is It?

Exploring your role in God’s mission to the unreached?  Want to see if Pioneers could be a good ministry partner?  Then Mission:Next is a weekend for you!

Be stirred by our core values, learn about the needs across the world and leave with a plan for your next steps in mission. (NB Please chat with a Pioneers mobiliser before registering for Mission: Next. We want to make sure that you attend the weekend at the point in your journey that will be best for you.)

Where & When Is It?

  • The weekend is held at Dovedale House (Ilam, Ashbourne,DE6 2AZ)
  • Arrive between 6:00 and 7:00 pm on Friday 22nd and depart after lunch (around 2:30pm please) on Sunday, 24th June.
  • Supper will be provided on Friday evening, so please arrive between 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Hot drinks will be available when you arrive as well!

The nearest train station to Dovedale House is Derby, 20 miles drive away. Sheffield train station is 35 miles away, and we can also collect you there. We ask that you try to arrive at a prearranged time to allow car pooling to the venue.  Contact us prior to the event to let us know how you plan on coming and if you need any help getting from the train station.

What Can I Expect?

We’ll explore key issues for cross-cultural ministry, with each workshop geared towards Pioneers’ core values. Sessions include:

  • Passion for God and Ethos of Grace
  • Reaching the Unreached/Status of our World
  • Team Based Ministry and your Team Style
  • Church-Planting Principles
  • Preparing to Go practical workshop
  • Others

Food allergies? Please let us know beforehand so we can do our best to accommodate!

What Does It Cost?

  • £90 per person (all inclusive).
  • Prices include accommodation in shared rooms and full board. Unfortunately, no children’s ministry is provided. Dovedale House provides all bedding but don’t forget to bring a towel.
