A massive thank you to Douglas & Jeanette for running the Kirkintilloch Half Marathon. They ran in support of one of our favourite charities, Cheka Child (www.chekachild.com) which supports vulnerable children in Northern Uganda through child sponsorship, mentoring, community development and discipleship. After completing their run, Douglas and Jeanette were able to visit Uganda the next December. They were the guests of honour at the Cheka Child Christmas celebrations where the children heard the Christmas story, recited some memory verses and were given new outfits and some Christmas gifts of soap and food. Many thanks to all who supported them.

Fancy doing a sponsored run in support of Pioneers or one of our partner projects? It’s easy to get started! Just go to www.runthrough.co.uk and find a run near you. You’ll get into great shape, and support a great cause all at the same time!

Pioneers Heritage Walk

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in to make our Heritage Walk a success! We managed to walk over 50 miles in 7 days, and we raised over £4000 for our fantastic mission mentors. This will help them significantly as they endeavour to train and send our Pioneers field workers to share the gospel with unreached peoples in all parts of the globe.

Enjoy a few photos from the walks…and make a plan now to join us next time!

Alex & Adam Run for Pioneers

Featured mission fundraisers half-marathon

A massive HOORAH for our friends Alex and Adam who took on the “joys” of the Belfast Half-Marathon in support of Pioneers UK. In the process of training for and running the half-marathon, Alex discovered that she’s not at all interested in long distance running. But nevermind, they still managed to raise over £800 for our mission mentor team!
