Help long term missionaries bring the love of Jesus to Fiji.

Fiji is home to the indigenous Fijians (Melanesian) as well as Indo-Fijians (East Indians brought to work the sugar cane fields several generations ago).  The Indians are Hindus and Muslims. Fiji is a great introduction to cross-cultural ministry for young people. It is a safe and English-speaking environment with a rich culture and many spiritual needs. Fiji is often idealised as a tropical paradise—and it is beautiful—but there is another side to the postcard.  Poverty, both physical and spiritual, is prevalent. This team is seeking to reach out to those in poverty through community development, relationship evangelism, discipleship, and training. Learn about day-to-day life and ministry with the team there.

Your time in Fiji will include children’s ministry (neighbourhood kids’ clubs), working with single mothers and their children (discipleship and after-school tutoring), helping out at Oasis Farm (where you will live), home visits, and exposure to various other missionaries and ministries here in Fiji. You will also travel to the capital city to visit Homes of Hope (a home that works with the victims of sex trafficking), the deaf school and other cultural and educational experiences.

Get in touch if you’d like to know more!
